Prince George's County Celebrates 300
years of history 1696-1996
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY COMMEMORATIVE LICENSE PLATES!
In celebration of the 300th birthday of Prince George's County,
Commemorative License Plates are being sold. The new license plate
features the colorful Prince George's County seal, followed by the letters
PG and a 4-digit tag number. The official Maryland tags will be good
throughout the Tricentennial year and beyond. License plates numbered up
to 0100 are priced at $100 and will include a complementary Tricentennial
license plate frame with the order. Other plates numbered from 0101 to
0300 are priced at $50 and those numbered from 0301 to 9999 are being sold
for $30. Additional license plate frames can be purchased for $5. The
proceeds (after MVA costs) will be used to finance Tricentennial
Celebration activities throughout Prince George's County.
